We Got a Couple of Trailers this past week here is what I picked up:

Black Lightning | Veins Trailer | The CW

This was a quick Trailer basically showing us a hint of his powers as we see electricity going up his veins. This is interesting because this might suggest that he needs to charge up his powers by taking electricity from objects around him. He also looks to be in pain so maybe his suit is meant to help him with that and this whole process and make it less painful.

  • We see Black Lighting working on his suit in a set reminiscent of Barry's CSI lab on Flash. This suit is something I think Peter Gambi helped make for Jefferson.
  • We have a voice over of I assume Peter Gambi talking about the reason Jefferson became Black lightning which was to bring hope back to his city and fear to Criminals.
  • This voice over is over scenes of Black Lighting and his family hugging each other which I think follows something tragic and is the moment he decides to become Black lightning again. 
  • We get some action shoots of him in the suit fighting people and a shoot of Tobias Whale, the leader of the 100 gang, looking quite devious.
  • We hear a voiceover of Tobias whale talking about resurrection and we see a funeral of what i am going to guess is Jefferson's mother and his father about to give a speech.
  • Tobias says resurrection is bad for business probably referring to the return of Black Lightning to the city. We also see Peter Gambi talking to Jefferson about knowing this day would come.
  • We see Jefferson arguing with his Ex-wife about the impact he has as black lighting versus the principal of Garfield High School. He thinks he has more of an impact as black lightning.
  • We see more vein shots and we now know that Jefferson and his ex-wife discovered he had powers which I am interested to see if the powers just manifested or if there was a cause.
  • Looks like Tobias whale is after Black Lighting and is sending people out to try and kill him but are obviously unsuccessful.
