• In show's timeline it has been 9 years since he has used his powers. We also see him talking to his daughters about how dangerous the city is and probably telling them to be careful.
• We then see presumably a 100 gang member shoot someone who im going to guess is the mayor or someone in a similar position within the city.
• We see his daughters held hostage by the 100 gang at gun point. Then we see Jefferson and Peter Gambi talking about him saving the city and protecting the people.
• We now have more context with the motel scene as it look like this is where his daughters are being held hostage and he, as black lightning, goes to save them.
• There is some kinda of dinner at the high school, judging by the school uniforms, where someone is giving a speech about the city and hope that Jefferson and Anissa are attending
• We see Jefferson walking around in his suit and people taking pictures and the people are pretty excited to see him. We also see Tobias whale declare that the streets are his.
• Based on his attire something is going to happen at the dinner and he is going to end up using his powers while in his tux and not in his black lightning suit. Also he wrecks a police car.
• Again like the last trailer we see his talking to his wife about being black lightning again and breaking his promise from years ago.
