Things that happened:
  • The episode picks up right after the last one where Jefferson collapsed and the police seem to be after Black Lightning. Gambi gets him before the police find him and calls Lynn to help.
  • Joey Toledo tips off Tobias that Black lightning is still alive and it he tipped off the police. Turns out the Tobias's mole is the police chief and Henderson is beginning to suspect him.
  • Lynn helps check up on Jefferson and his brain scan seems to be unusual and is similar to those on the green light drug. Anissa is part of a protest and gets arrested again and is bailed out.
  • Jennifer and Anissa have some sister time and they discuss Khalil. Gambi has fixed Jefferson's suit and he is hell bent on taking Tobias out but gambit is still keeping secrets about Tobias.
  • Gambi is worried that Jefferson is going to cross a line by killing Tobias and asks her to help convince him otherwise. Jennifer is still having issues with the rival girl from another school.
  • Anissa goes to her mom to ask her to help understand some lab results from the old files from her grandfather and Lynn asks again if there is something she isent telling her.
  • Black lightning goes to Tobias's doctor and gives him a phone to call him when Tobias comes in for an appointment. Jennifer is getting cyber bullied by students at school, including Khalil.
  • A second protest of the statue ends up with a student being killed that Anissa knew. Khalil is hurting and blames her Jennifer for his situation because he wouldn't have gone if not for her.
  • Black lightning get the call from the doctor letting him know that Tobias is going to be coming in. Jennifer returns to the statue and uses her powers to destroy it. Anissa calls her mom.
  • Tobias, Cyanide, and Toledo show up and Lynn talks to Jefferson and her lab is broken into. Black lightning ruses over but Anissa also happens to be there and they fight each other.
  • Lynn and Jefferson know that Anissa has powers and she was pretty beat up. Gambi meets up with lady eve and it seems like he has bargained with her to keep Tobias a secret from Jeff.
  • Tobias promises Khalil that he will walk again (Green light?) Anissa now knows that her dad is Black Lightning and it seems like maybe they will team up to put an end to the 100 gang.
